Amsterdam was the perfect destination for our group of friends, and the hotel was super cool. We rented bikes and explored the city like true locals. The biking experience was amazing and made our trip so much more fun. Plus, the hotel was in a central location, so it was easy to get to all the party spots.
If there was one thing we'd change, it would be to have more lively activities organized by the hotel specifically for young party-goers. Although Amsterdam has a great nightlife, it would have been awesome to have some fun events or parties at the hotel itself to make our stay even more memorable.

The location in Amsterdam Noord was a pleasant surprise. It offered a perfect blend of serene green expanses and charming little villages, as well as some of the city's most cutting-edge architecture. The buffet breakfast at the accommodation was fantastic. It had a wide variety of options, including continental and American breakfast choices. It was a great way to start the day and fuel up for exploration.
Limited parking availability.

I had a really good experience in the room downstairs. Marta, the host, was friendly and gave us great recommendations for places to visit. The breakfast options of waffles or pancakes were a delicious treat. The bedroom was cozy and perfect for a couple. I also appreciated being able to sleep outside of the city and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

The value for money at this hotel was great, with clean and comfortable rooms. The location was quiet and easily accessible, and the staff, especially Marta, were incredibly kind and helpful. I felt right at home during my stay.
The breakfast menu could be improved by adding a wider variety of options.

The location is not so close to the city center but it's in a nice, quiet residential area. This allows you to see a different side of Amsterdam, away from the tourist center. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, with nice smelling linen and towels provided. Marta, the hostess, is friendly and helpful, making the check-in process smooth. One advantage is the easy access to the house at any time you want to come back.
The blankets in the rooms are a bit old.

I just loved the room at The Rooms Upstairs & Downstairs! The twin/double room had a balcony where I could sip my morning coffee and a cozy microwave to warm up some leftovers. The tea/coffee maker was a convenient touch too. It felt like home!
The only thing I didn't quite vibe with was the patio in the double room. It just didn't match my personal style, but I'm sure others would love it.
